Cooking

              I’m going to talk about my ability to cook. Last Saturday, I and some of my friends made dishes in my friend’s house because one of them suggested that we would make one dish per person. First, we went to a supermarket to buy ingredients. I didn’t decide what I would make, so I went to the cooking magazine section and selected a dish that I would make. I chose Mexican food because that looked easy to cook. I looked ingredients with many clerks helping. I took very long time to do the shopping. Next, we went back my friend’s house and made own dishes. I prepared same ingredients as written in the magazine, but I didn’t see how to cook. I made the dish to use my sense, and I regret that now. My dish was looked almost same a picture in the magazine, so I thought it was not so bad. However, the taste was really terrible. I knew I wasn’t good at cooking, but it was worse than I expected. My dish made us feeling sick. I really have to practice cooking, or no one wants to be my boyfriend and husband. I noticed that food have big influence on people’s body and feeling.

Summer Plan

Summer vacation will start from tomorrow. I’m happy that summer vacation will come soon, but I don’t have any plans in this summer. Almost my friends have some trip plans. I don’t like to make plan because making trip plans is hard,and that may states I'm lazy. I want to improve my English skill, so I will study and review what I learned in all of this semester’s classes. Also, I want to go out somewhere. I think I will go swimming, shopping, and restaurants. I want to spend good time in this summer, and I hope everyone will have a great time. I’m looking forward to meet my friends in September.

Thoughts on the movie: The Gods Must Be Crazy

    I would like to talk about the movie that we watched in our last class. This movie is called “The Gods Must Be Crazy”. Today is our last class, so Michael gave us the time watching movie and allowed eating snacks. I’m going to show compact story about this movie. A man who bored in a helicopter fell a cock bottle to the ground. Another man picked up this bottle and brought back to his village. People in this village didn’t know bottles, because they lived in local area where couldn’t catch any information. This bottle caused fighting, and the fighting became big. Gods gave them new good, but it caused bad situation. Therefore, the title of this movie is the gods must be crazy. It was interesting, and some scenes made me laugh. However, I couldn’t understand well about this movie. I want to watch this movie again because I want to understand it. I really enjoyed watching the movie and our last class. It was a great time.

Disney Movie

Last Saturday, I watched "HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON" and "SHREK". I watched SHREK once in Japan, but I forgot the story of this movie. I don't like Shrek's behaviors, especially when Shrek ate some insects which makes me feel disgusted even though this movie is an animation movie. I don't like the movie, however the other movie was so interesting and exciting. at first, dragon was enemy of humans, but they were trained and they become friends with the humans, and learn to live together. I was moved by this movie, and I really like it. Recently, HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2 was released. I am looking forward to go and watch it.

My Thoughts About This Class

　　　Today, I would like to talk about my class. First of all, I love my class. Michael’s teaching methods is very interesting and attractive, so I become enjoying learning English. His explanation is easy to understand. I hope my next teacher would also has same characteristics as him. I realized that class style is different between Canada and Japan.  In Japan, students only listen lectures, and we are not able to drink water. In Canada, students often talk in small groups, and drink coffee during the class time. Canadian classes are more interesting than Japanese classes.

　　I glad that I could make so many friend in my class. Some Chinese students in our class are so kind, funny, and exciting. The Japanese students who in our class are also good people. I like everyone in my class.

　　Last Wednesday, we went to BBQ. We enjoyed an activity and eating grateful foods. It was so excited and fun. We made a good memory. I want to learn more English with them.

　　I will miss my classmates and teacher next session because I will be put into different classes. I do appreciate Professor Michael who provided me that enjoyable class experience and gave me opportunities to making so many great friends.

Studying

            Last Saturday, I did a practice TOEIC exam with my friend in school. My friend brought TOEIC textbook from Japan. We did it in quiet room and saw time as if it was real test. We wanted know our English skill. My score was little better than before, but it was still terrible. I didn’t know many words in this practice test. I have to review it and study vocabulary. We reviewed it together next day, and it needs long time. I couldn’t finish reviewing it in this day. This score says me that I have to study hard. We will do a practice exam again next week.

A comfortable life is the most valuable in my life. My purpose of life is happiness. I hope my life will become to be unique and exciting.  If the world wasn’t peace, I can’t alive. If I don’t have family and friends, I can’t spend good time.  I want to be wisdom because wisdom person can spend time useful. I ranked my value, but all of these things are very important in order to achieve my purpose. Now, studying English and other countries’ culture is most important for me. These things make me exciting. I’m spending valuable time recently.
